A Slow Arrival — Orient Express: The Truffle Route
Tuscany & Piedmont Unfold Slowly, From a Window Built for Wonder.
A private collaboration between Tranquil Escape Getaways and Orient Express La Dolce Vita — featuring The Truffle Route (Rome–Alba–Rome, 3 Days / 2 Nights), held at the pace of the landscape itself.
The Invitation

You have traveled everywhere luxury can take you. And somewhere along the way, the luxury began to feel the same.
This journey was designed as an antidote to over-scheduled travel — a digital and mental detox built into the itinerary itself, not squeezed around it. The pace is the point. The stillness is the amenity.
This is not an affiliate offer. It is a curated collaboration between Tranquil Escape Getaways and Orient Express — two parties who believe that care in hospitality is rare enough to deserve equally intentional travel design.

Why This Partnership
Heritage matched with intention.
Orient Express carries a century of craftsmanship in its Art Deco carriages — a level of care in hospitality that is rare enough to deserve being met with equally intentional travel design on our end. We chose this partnership because the train already understands slowness. Our work is to shape the journey around it.
The Investment
An investment in restoration, not a price to justify.
Orient Express The Truffle Route starting from €6,560 per passenger (with full Tuscany-region itineraries running roughly €3,000 to €20,000+ per person depending on route, duration, and cabin) — inclusive of 3-Michelin-starred cuisine, wine pairings, and luxury cabin suites. Stated plainly, and without apology.
Space is intentionally limited. The carriages hold a small number of guests, so the scarcity here is honest, not manufactured.

A Note Before You Go
When do departure dates for The Truffle Route run?
Departures coincide with the peak white truffle and harvest season in autumn, starting from November. Cabin allocations are strictly limited per journey to preserve exclusivity.
What's included in The Truffle Route itinerary?
All 3-day / 2-night train accommodations, gourmet dining curated by 3-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck, fine wine pairings, on-board entertainment, and private land excursions including Alba truffle experiences.
How does the digital-detox element actually work?
It's built into the rhythm, not enforced. Designated quiet carriages, optional device rest, and intentional silence between stops — participation is always an invitation, never a rule.
Is there grace if plans change?
Yes. Cancellation terms are generous and human, and we'll walk through them with you in full before anything is held.
